At last, we have the answer, but it’s a sad, sad thing that one of the animlas had to die.

Of course it’s pretty certain that this contest must have been staged in the past, probably by the Romans and probably by serveral kings of various realms. Can anyone out there point to reliable evidence for previous encounters and the outcomes?

There’s this video here on Youtube that shows a fight somewhere in the middle, but it’s not one-on-one so doesn’t count.

All very silly I know and I’d hate anyone deliberately arranging a fight to get an answer, but it is the kind of thing you ask your parents when you’re young or that I might get asked by my children.
